According to reports, the video was released on Saturday by Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas as the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal expired.

What Does The Video Show?

A three-minute video was released by Hamas that showed rather emotional Israeli Argentinian brothers, Yair Horn and Eitan Horn who were kidnapped by the militant group on October 7, 2023and released two weeks back as part of the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.

Eitan Horn can be heard pleading Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to, "Get everyone out and don’t separate families anymore."

He added, "This is not logical to separate families. Do not destroy our lives. Tell my mother, my father and everyone to continue demonstrations and do not stop for this government to sign the second phase of the deal and return us home."

His brother Yair Horn stated that if Israeli government has a heart, a little conscience, "it must sign the deal".

"Sign the second and third stage. Enough war, enough deaths, enough destroying lives of others. Enough...enough...enough,66jogo Cassinos Online Brasil" he added.

The video also showed the face of a third hostage, Sagui Dekel-Chen along with two others, who Hamas also released.

How Did Israel Respond?

Israeli government called the video a part of 'psychological warfare' by Hamas and declared that "Israel will not be deterred" and "will continue to work tirelessly to return all hostages and meet all war goals."

A statement from Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said, "The Hamas terrorist organization has, this evening, disseminated another cruel propaganda video in which our hostages are forced to engage in psychological warfare. Israel will not be deterred by Hamas propaganda. We will continue to act relentlessly for the return of all of our hostages and until all objectives of the war are met."

Israel & Hamas Ceasefire Deal

Israel's government said early Sunday it supports a proposal to extend the first phase of the ceasefire in Gaza through Ramzan and Passover, though Hamas has insisted on negotiating the truce's second phase instead.

The statement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office came minutes after the first phase ended, and as talks have begun on starting the second phase that's aimed at ending the war and seeing all remaining living hostages in Gaza returned home.

The statement gives new details on what Israel described as a US proposal: A ceasefire extension through Passover, or April 20. On the first day, half the hostages, alive and dead, would be released. The rest would be released if agreement is reached on a permanent ceasefire.

Hamas said that the proposal by Israel for extending first phase of ceasefire is "unacceptable".
